Open position: Direttore di Cantiere Edile

Location: Villanova d'Albenga (SV)

For one of our construction sites in the province of Savona, we are looking for a Site Manager who will be responsible for technical and economic management, ensuring compliance with the objectives set out in the contract. He/she will have to ensure the organization and management of the work, as well as the deployment of the resources (human, materials, plant and machinery) necessary to carry out the work.

Specifically, the Site Manager will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate, in support of the Project Manager, the development of the executive design and the execution of the works, in compliance with the provisions of the contract, ensuring the achievement of the technical-economic objectives set for the job order.
  • Prepare, in coordination with the Project Manager and the Administration, Finance and Control Manager, the technical-economic estimate (budget/forecast) of the job order, contributing to the analysis of deviations and the adoption of appropriate actions in order to guarantee the result of the job order.
  • Define and update the work planning/scheduling of resources required to execute activities, verifying compliance and implementing corrective actions to eliminate or reduce any deviations.
  • Support the Project Manager in the selection of equipment, machinery and facilities to be used in the execution of the work.
  • Ensure, in coordination with the Quality Manager and in compliance with contractual requirements, the proper execution of the work and its monitoring by managing any non-conformities detected.
  • Ensure work accounting and monitor periodic progress reports, in accordance with the methods and procedures stipulated in the contract.
  • Support the Project Manager in setting contract variances and/or any claims.
  • Manage relations with local agencies and authorities for activities under their jurisdiction, as well as relations with Construction Management and any other representatives of the Client.
  • Manage direct or subcontracted personnel on site, in compliance with the requirements of current company regulations and local regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Adequate and proven experience as Site Manager for construction companies specializing in Civil Engineering and complex infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of subcontracting contracts.
  • Willingness to relocate within the country.
